Olga arrived in Batumi at the very start of 2022. Before that, she'd been a project manager at «Сделано», a Moscow startup — and along the way she'd accumulated something rare: real, hands-on experience setting up apartments across half a dozen cities she'd lived in. She knew the smell of new sheets, the weight of a properly hemmed curtain, the difference between a kitchen that photographs well and one that lives well.
In Batumi she came to help with flowers — the natural continuation of Plant Me, her plant studio in Moscow. But within months an owner asked her to manage his flat. Then his friend asked. Then a neighbour. The thing she'd been doing as a hobby across her own homes turned out to be exactly what people in Batumi needed and nobody was doing properly.
then artem.
Artem joined later. He'd spent years between cities — real estate, brand launches, investment work, the kind of life that puts you in a different hotel almost every week. After enough of those nights you stop being a guest and start being a critic: the towel weight, the lighting temperature, the receipt waiting at checkout, the small things that separate a good operator from a bad one. He knew this language fluently — from the customer side.
He was looking for someone to build it with. A market where the demand was real, the standards were low, and the team was the bottleneck. When he found Olya already running ten apartments on her own, the conversation was short.
two halves, one product.
The interesting part isn't that we're partners. It's that we come from opposite sides of the room — Olya from operations and the inside of a home, Artem from strategy and the outside view of how systems behave. One built things by hand for a decade. The other watched things being built and saw what was missing.
Together we're building what we think the region has been missing: the best property operator in Batumi. Honest about money, ruthless about quality, small on purpose. Built one apartment at a time, one owner at a time. Slow on purpose. Right by default.
