most coffee in batumi is fine. some of it is bad. nova is in a different category — third-wave, single-origin, properly roasted, served with the patience of someone who knows what they're doing.
the morning is for pour-over, not espresso. they rotate ethiopian and colombian regularly; ask what's on the manual brew bar today. you can have it sweet (filter brings out the fruit) or smooth (V60 if you want clarity). a flat white runs ≈12 ₾, filter ≈14 ₾.
the room itself is clean and unfussy: tile, wood, two small tables, a window onto the street. not the place for a long lunch — but the perfect place for two hours of reading, an interview, or a quiet first coffee before the city wakes up.
they bake their own croissants on fridays. by saturday they're trying. by sunday they're gone. if you see a croissant after 11am, take it.
parnavaz mepe 60. every day 08:00 – 23:00.
